To work at Kindred means to be part of a team dedicated to quality care. Here’s a look at life at Kindred as seen through the eyes of its team members.
Shirley Warren, Admissions Coordinator
As the Admissions Coordinator, I am usually the first person a family encounters when they begin looking at health care options. Assisting families in making the right decision for their loved one is very rewarding. Most of the individuals I meet have little knowledge about the process of admitting someone to a health care facility. Placing a loved one in a facility is never an easy decision. I strive to make this process easier on the family by giving them the correct information and by easing their concerns. This is made easier by knowing that the resident is going to receive quality care from our staff. Families often come back after the admission to tell me how pleased they are with the care and attention from the staff.
LeeAnn Reed, Utilization Coordinator
I have been working for Whitesburg Gardens for a year now but have employed with Kindred Healthcare for the past 8 years. I have been working in long term care for the past 18 years. I feel Whitesburg Gardens is a great place to work. We are a very dedicated team who provide a loving and caring environment for our residents.
Jeanette Webb, Unit Manager
I have been employed at Whitesburg Gardens since May 2003. From my first day here I have felt like part of a large family. The employees here share a love of their work and the residents. Our heads of nursing, and administration are all involved with the employees and residents.
